Q&A Part 4

This is the section where Authors and blog partners try to give answers to your questions. If you have any questions that you would like to ask, please contact us or leave your question in the comments.

Question:

At a very young age I had some inexplicable and impressive abilities that I have now lost. How is this explained?

Answer:

Children are always more "open" and more effective in Art work. It is because they are still "untainted" by the rationality of society that blocks emotion. As children, we can do many impressive things, but slowly growing up, we learn to give more importance to logic, blocking our intuition and thus by extension we forget how we did certain things when we were small.

Question:

I had a question while reading the words that are said during ceremonies. You mention what is said by Christians and what is said by Pagans. But what happens if someone does not belong to either of these 2 religions or who does not believe in any God?

Answer:

The reasons I mention only Christian and Pagan ceremonies, even though there are so many other denominations and religions, is because in Greece, Christianity and Paganism are the dominant religions, the rest (eg Buddhism, Mohammedanism, Hinduism, etc.) are minority in our country.

Therefore, I considered it unnecessary to mention the rituals of other religions on a website aimed at Greeks. But needless to say, my knowledge of the rituals of other religions is limited, so I prefer not to mention them at all to avoid giving wrong information. Also, Christianity is the dominant world religion right now, and Paganism includes a lot of denominations, which more or less have the same rituals and beliefs, with only minor (mostly nominal) variations.

As for what you say about someone not believing in any God, we should first clarify whether they are Atheist, Agnostic, Pantheist or Chaotic. As you will have already read on the website, we have to believe somewhere or something in order to be able to perform Ceremonies. Believing in something is what gives us strength. So, my opinion is that only an Atheist cannot perform a Ceremony. The Agnostic should simply clarify what he believes.

The Pantheist and Chaotic have a set creed, although no specific Deities appear, there are Pantheist and Chaotic rituals, set to represent their beliefs.

I want to emphasize here that I have nothing against Atheists. The matter is purely practical when it comes to ceremonies. They cannot perform a ceremony, which is essentially a process of Divine worship, when they do not believe in any God/Gods! How do you express worship to something you don't believe exists?

Question:

What are the dangers of invoking a spirit?

Answer:

The risks are many and varied... it depends on how you call it and what experience you have with the Art. The most common mistake made by those completely unrelated to the Art is to use the so-called "glass" or "table" (English ouija board) without having the slightest idea of what they are doing and how to protect themselves if necessary. With the ouija board, 9 out of 10 comes something hierarchically "small" (ie with limited power) that just gives you a very strong dose of terror, and nothing else.

It is impossible to list what can happen with each technique, because I would need a whole book. That is why I will mention only the basics:

In general, when you go to call a spirit like that randomly without knowing the Art and using methods like the ouija board, something comes along that will just scare you... but it will scare you a lot! This is the most common case. Less common (but it does happen) is to escape with a few bruises (yes, eat wood or objects hit your head) or have something not so pleasant take up permanent residence in your home. It's rare to end up in an insane asylum.

With simple methods from unrelated, the chance of something hierarchically "big" answering the call is literally 1 in 1,000,000, very rare indeed. In this exceptional case, it is possible to end up dead or possessed...

The connoisseurs of the Art do not run so many risks, for the sole reason that they know what to summon, how to summon it, how to protect themselves from what they summon and what to do in case of need. But then again, let's not forget that connoisseurs don't deal with "cups and spirit boards" but with more complex practices that of course also appeal to higher hierarchical spirits, and of course when you "play with fire" it is not impossible to get burned. If they are careless and leave possibilities for the spirit to harm them, then know that it is impossible for them to escape it only with a good scare.

I want to emphasize here that all of the above applies to the invocation of malevolent and not benevolent spirits. When you invoke a benevolent spirit, you are in absolutely no danger. But the bad thing is that a call from those unrelated to the Art is almost always answered by a demon, even if it's not the desired outcome. The reason is that demons in general are much "easier" to invoke while benevolent spirits require some preparation, mental and practical.
